On the Bay of Biscay in the Basque Country there are beautiful beaches but also wild coastal landscapes. On the Barrikaka beach near Barrika, the waves break on the various rock formations and, if the weather is suitable, the roaring spray can be photographically transformed into a fine mist. This gives the photos an almost mystical look and one would not be surprised to see pirates and mythical creatures emerging from the water.
