Here is a list of notable artists who are preparing to make the leap into the Metaverse or are already offering works as Non-Fungible Tokens (NFT). The current evolutionary push of the Internet from centralized to decentralized networks, from Web2 to Web3, has initiated this interesting cultural-sociological development, worldwide and unlimited.
In this way, the metaverse can become a “place” where social polarizations with stereotypical gender and age-specific polarizations dissolve. This event is also shown in the list created here, which does not have to strive for diversity, as this is a given per se. (List in alphabetical order).
Boris Eldagsen

“NFTs are a logical extension of my AI-generated works. They are not only created digitally but also presented digitally.”
Otto Frühwach

“When used correctly, NFTs are a wonderful instrument to add value to artworks. Each of my paintings can also come with an additional NFT as a certificate of authenticity. NFTs can also contain a wealth of additional information about the artwork – such as a (video) interview with the painter or a virtual exhibition tour.”
Ruediger Glatz
First NFT drop and inaugural NFT collection from the series “Genesis”, available at ruedigerglatz.com/nft.

“NFTs hold the greatest promise to expand the impact of art for everyone. They bear ownership and knowledge — and may even contain the artwork itself.”

“Making the invisible visible — The focus of my attention is always on the beauty and abundance of the invisible feminine worlds, the source of all creative forces from which all vitality flows.”
Eva Prietz

“The essence of water – in dialogue with the element itself, I photograph the spirit of water and have been selling my works since 2000. In 2023, I took the leap into the new world and began offering my first works as NFTs.”
Wolfgang Wimhöfer
His artworks are available as NFTs on OpenSea and Foundation.

“NFTs already protect ideas within the Metaverse, rather than only securing their physical results in reality.”
