Sea Lion Island is the southernmost inhabited island of the Falkland Islands and a major nature reserve. It is renowned for its abundant wildlife, including large colonies of sea lions and elephant seals, as well as several species of penguins (such as rockhopper, Magellanic, and king penguins). The island is sparsely populated and hosts a small eco-lodge for visitors. With its pristine nature and exceptional biodiversity, Sea Lion Island is considered one of the best destinations for wildlife and nature photography in the South Atlantic.
