Karin’s Travel Diaries

On this page: Karin’s Travel Diaries — Parents: Fotografische Themen › Reiseberichte — Photography, Technology & Science at the Tenckhoff Photo Archive.

Since the 1970s, Karin Tenckhoff has documented her journeys around the world in handwritten travel diaries. In them she records impressions, encounters, and the quiet moments that define a place – from meals on Japan’s Shinkansen to mornings in the mountains of Tasmania.
This collection brings together her travel stories and the corresponding photographs – a living archive of travelled landscapes and lived time.
