Budapest is the capital of Hungary, divided by the Danube River into two parts: the hilly Buda in the west and the flat, lively Pest in the east. The city is renowned for its magnificent architecture, including the Parliament Building, Chain Bridge, and Fisherman’s Bastion. Budapest is also famous for its thermal baths, such as Széchenyi and Gellért, and for its vibrant cultural and music scene. The Danube panorama of Budapest is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
