Andalusia is an autonomous community in southern Spain and one of the country’s most culturally rich regions. Its landscapes range from the beaches of the Costa del Sol and Costa de la Luz to the Sierra Nevada mountains and the vast plains of the Guadalquivir River. Andalusia is historically shaped by Moorish heritage, visible in landmarks such as the Alhambra in Granada, the Mezquita of Córdoba, and the Alcázar of Seville. Flamenco, bullfighting, and festivals like the Feria de Abril are deeply rooted in Andalusian culture.
