Kristiansand is a port city in southern Norway and the administrative center of Agder County. Located on the Skagerrak coast, it is considered the “Gateway to Southern Norway.” The city is known for its wide sandy beach Bystranda, the Christiansholm Fortress, and the Kristiansand Zoo and Amusement Park, one of the largest in Scandinavia. Kristiansand is also an important ferry port with connections to Denmark and a popular destination for summer tourism.
