Tuscany (Toskana) is a region in central Italy, with Florence as its capital. It is considered the cradle of the Renaissance and is renowned for its art, architecture, and cultural heritage. World-famous cities such as Florence, Siena, Pisa, and Lucca shape the character of the region. Tuscany is also known for its rolling hills, vineyards, olive groves, and cypress-lined roads. The region is a major wine producer (e.g., Chianti, Brunello di Montalcino). Numerous UNESCO World Heritage Sites highlight Tuscany’s cultural significance.
