The Aeolian Islands (also known as the Lipari Islands) are a volcanic archipelago in the Tyrrhenian Sea, north of Sicily, Italy. They comprise seven main islands: Lipari, Vulcano, Stromboli, Salina, Filicudi, Alicudi, and Panarea. The islands are a UNESCO World Heritage Site, famous for their geological phenomena, including the active volcanoes Stromboli and Vulcano. The Aeolian Islands are a popular destination for nature lovers, hikers, and beachgoers, offering Mediterranean climate, landscapes, and rich history.
