Tallinn is the capital of Estonia, located on the Gulf of Finland opposite Helsinki. The city is renowned for its medieval Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring city walls, towers, and Gothic buildings. Tallinn combines historic architecture with modern urban life, including skyscrapers and a dynamic IT and start-up scene. Culturally, it reflects influences from the Hanseatic League, Scandinavia, and Russia. The Port of Tallinn is also a key transport hub in the Baltic Sea region.
