Düsseldorf is the capital of North Rhine-Westphalia and lies on the River Rhine. The city is an important hub for business, art, fashion, and trade fairs. Düsseldorf is famous for the Königsallee (Kö), one of Europe’s most elegant shopping boulevards, as well as its historic old town, often called the “longest bar in the world.” The city boasts a vibrant cultural scene with museums, theaters, and modern architecture such as the Media Harbor.
