Bornholm is a Danish island in the Baltic Sea, located east of mainland Denmark and south of Sweden. The island is known for its diverse landscape of cliffs, sandy beaches, forests, and farmland. It is characterized by medieval round churches, fishing villages, and a strong tradition of arts and crafts. Bornholm is also a popular holiday destination for cyclists and nature lovers, and it is home to Hammershus, the largest castle ruin in Northern Europe.
