Haukadalur is a valley in southwestern Iceland, famous for its geothermal activity. It is part of the Golden Circle, one of the country’s most popular tourist routes. Haukadalur is home to the famous Great Geysir, the namesake of all geysers worldwide, and the active Strokkur, which erupts every few minutes. The valley is characterized by hot springs, mud pots, and fumaroles, making it one of Iceland’s most impressive natural wonders.
