Taipei is the capital of Taiwan, located in the north of the island. It is the political, economic, and cultural center of the country. The city’s most famous landmark is Taipei 101, which was once the tallest building in the world. Taipei combines modern skyscraper architecture with traditional temples such as the Longshan Temple and vibrant night markets. It is also a hub for technology, education, and cuisine, offering high quality of life thanks to its location amid mountains and rivers.
