Bagan is a historic city in Myanmar and one of Southeast Asia’s most significant archaeological sites. Between the 9th and 13th centuries, over 2,000 temples, pagodas, and stupas were built, many of which still dominate the Bagan plains today. The sunrises over the temples have made Bagan a unique destination for cultural and photography travelers. The site has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2019.
