Sulawesi is one of Indonesia’s four Greater Sunda Islands, located between Borneo and the Moluccas. The island is distinguished by its characteristic shape with multiple peninsulas. Sulawesi is known for its cultural diversity, including the traditions of the Toraja people, as well as for stunning landscapes of mountains, rainforests, and coastlines. Its dive sites, such as Bunaken and Wakatobi, are among the most biodiverse marine ecosystems in the world.
