Lombok is an Indonesian island east of Bali and part of the Lesser Sunda Islands. It is known for its beautiful beaches, waterfalls, and Mount Rinjani, one of Indonesia’s highest volcanoes. Compared to neighboring Bali, Lombok is less crowded and offers a more authentic island experience. The Gili Islands off Lombok’s northwest coast are a popular destination for diving and snorkeling.
