Guilin

Guilin is located in the Guangxi Autonomous Region of southern China and is world-famous for its striking karst mountains, river scenery, and rice terraces. Especially renowned is the picturesque stretch of the Li River between Guilin and Yangshuo. The region is considered one of China’s most beautiful landscapes and is a major destination for nature and cultural tourism.

Guilin is located in southeast China on the banks of the Li River (Li Jiang). The name Guilin can be translated as "city of the smelled flower forest".
