Hawaii is a U.S. state in the Pacific Ocean consisting of volcanic islands. The archipelago is renowned for its tropical beaches, active volcanoes, rainforests, and unique culture with Polynesian roots. Honolulu on the island of Oʻahu is the capital, while Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and beaches such as Waikīkī are world-famous destinations.
