The Valdés Peninsula is located on the Atlantic coast in Chubut Province, Patagonia, Argentina, and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is internationally renowned for its exceptional wildlife: southern right whales, elephant seals, sea lions, and various penguin species can be seen along the coasts. Inland, guanacos, armadillos, and rheas roam freely. The peninsula is one of South America’s most important nature reserves and a prime destination for whale watching and eco-tourism.
