Sunsets and sunrises
The beach was well attended during the day but in the evening there were fantastic views of the Yellow Sea and the sun sinking into it.
Lanzarote is always worth a trip - and invites you to a variety of activities. The salt pans and an altitude are particularly interesting at sunset, from where you can photograph the sunset behind the volcanoes.
In the Danube Delta we were able to experience and record particularly impressive sunsets due to the changeable weather. The photo of the anvil cloud over the sinking sun is reminiscent of the mushroom of an atomic bomb explosion.
We have always been lucky with rented holiday homes on La Palma, but we were particularly impressed by this lonely house at around 1700 m above sea level. Since the hiking trails of the high altitudes started directly at the house, you could save yourself the journey by car and in the evening the sunsets in the sea of clouds over the coastal regions of the island were particularly beautiful.
The wide deserted beaches on the Baltic Sea side of the Curonian Spit turn copper-red at sunset in April and create a slightly melancholic mood.
The Curonian Spit is a 98 km long peninsula on the north coast of the Samland. It begins in Lesnoi and ends at the Memeler Tief. Since 1945 the northern 52 km have belonged to Lithuania and the southern 46 km to the Russian Kaliningrad Oblast.
The overnight stay at Gorman's Clifftop House near Murreagh, Dingle region in Ireland was perfect to record the setting of the sun in the Atlantic. In ideal weather, we shot a lot of pictures and some videos with the Nikon D800.
